Plan to board the boat mid-day on Saturday the 8th of May, 2004, at the Skipton docking facility. Directions to dock will be available when you make your reservation. There will be plenty of assistance available for you to get settled on board.

During your week long canal tour, you will see the Yorkshire countryside, or wherever you may be, in a laid back and leisurely manner. Visit the Dales on side trips, see some lovely English gardens, eat at the most superb pubs in all of England , and wander around as you wish. The Canal Boats will try to dock in a pre-arranged port each night for your convenience. Should you choose to meander around the countryside during the day....you tell us when you want to return to the canal boats and arrangements will be made.

Breakfast will be provided on board each day, lunch and dinner will be eaten in pubs along the canal. Expect some of the best food you have ever tasted. There will be plenty of snacks onboard to get us through those stretches of canal with no eating facilities.

Every person will have either a bed or a bunk bed to sleep in. There are typically two lavatories onboard. Should the weather turn chilly, there are heaters on the boat also. Extra blankets are provided.

So, come aboard, unpack your suitcase, and have one of the best adventures of your life.
